    J and A Labels

One of Sara Nelson Design’s newest wine labels: J and A.

We like to get to Woodinville to renew/refresh acquaintances with people, the market and Molbak’s. (Long story involving a metal tree that I fit into a car’s trunk. You’ll see it if you see us at a trade show…)

The 2012 Passport weekend was excellent. A new Sara Nelson Design wine label – J&A – was had its first-ever release party. J&A has yet to build a tasting room, so the gracious folks at Red Sky lent them space for the party.

Congratulations to Dick Mettler and Crew on the launch of a winery, brand and label all at once! It was pulled together with style and class…which is not a surprise to those who have worked with Dick!

If you are a wine-lover but have yet to visit Woodinville (a suburb northeast of Seattle), it’s worth your time! There are north of 100 wineries and/or tasting rooms, including a couple of Washington’s biggest and fanciest!

Sara Nelson Label Design Portfolio SiteFor some time we have wanted to create a quick, simple portfolio page that shows a broad sample of our label and packaging design work than usually is seen together. Thus, in a few spare moments, we launched http://saranelsonlabeldesign.com. Wine label design, ag produce packaging design, several beer label designs and even a candle company’s retail package design are all in this collection! It’s not a change in what we do; just a different way to organize a collection. Take a peek!
